Hi all,
(Just as a disclaimer, this is the first time I’ve ever posted in a forum before! Yep, 41 years old and I’m a newbie! So, I apologize if I’m doing anything wrong or don’t fully understand what this all entails!)

The phrase that I’ve found is “sláinte agus aoibhneas” with the apparent meaning stated as “health of soul and body”. I love the Irish word “ aoibhneas” and it’s meaning and in a search of sayings/proverbs/etc using that word, I came across this saying. But in searching for more info on this actual phrase, I wasn’t able to find much at all, maybe 2 sites that even referenced it. I just wanted to see if anyone could confirm that this would be a grammatically correct phrase in Irish?? I would be using this as a tattoo so I really want to make sure I’m not permanently inking some nonsense on my body!

TIA for any input anyone might have!

The meaning is "health and bliss":

sláinte = health
agus = and
aoibhneas = bliss, delight
