Cén atá sé agus cén fáth? Oíche maith nó oíche mhaith? Agus, an deirtear sé an bhealach
(which is it and why? Good night or goodnight (lenite on the good)? And, is it said that way?)

Go raibh maith agaibh!
(Thank you)

Tá brón orm don mo Gaeilge, táim nua.
(I'm sorry for my Irish, I'm new)

Oíche is a feminine noun.
That's why a following adjective must be lenited: oíche mhaith = good night.
