Could anyone please tell me the plural for "try it now".
I know the singular is bain triail as anois.
Is it bain triail asaigí anois?
Thank you in advance for any help given.
Bain is the verb (to reap) in Imperative form to one person (singular)
and As is the prepositional pronoun (out of it or him)
So it's the verb that changes when talking to many people
The plural of Bain is Bainigí (note the fada mark on the last i)
So,
Bain triail as - Try it (Reap a try out of it - singular)
Bainigí triail as - Try it (plural)
If you wanted to say 'Try them' for example, you change the 'As' (prepositional pronoun)
Astu - Out of them
Bain triail astu - Try them (to one person)
Bainigí triail astu - Try them (when talking to more than one person)
