Hi I'm looking for a translation from English to Irish for a possible tattoo. I would like it to say....
"Don't be afraid"
Any help is appreciated!

If you are talking to one person:

Ná bíodh eagla ort.

More than one person:

Ná bíodh eagla oraibh.

If you are referring to yourself, there could be a number of things you could say, and/or other ways depending on how you want to phrase it.

Cuirimis uainn an eagla! Away with fear!

Beag an baol! Never fear!

Let us know and wait for other comments.

OK, so I don't think it would be the first two. Probably more like the last two. Wait for more ideas as there are probably very good ways to say it the way you want it. Take your time and get something good.

Hi
Would appreciate if anyone else can confirm the translation.
I have decided i want it to say "dont be afraid"
Exactly as if it were someone else saying it to me.
Will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

If it’s meant to be as if sb else were saying it to you, then I can confirm ná bíodh eagla ort – that’d be my translation as well, but wait for somebody else’s input to be sure. :)

Yes, in that case Ná bíodh eagla ort is what you want.

Just in case they might suit, you could also use one of the following, each with a slightly different twist in terms of encouraging someone to go on (they also have the added value of being shorter):

Ná géill choíche.
Never surrender

Seas an fód
Stand your ground

Should that not be 'géillfidh'?

Not for the command form, since géillfidh is the future tense form, though you could say:

Ní ghéillfidh mé choíche
I will never surrender
