Hi there, I'm hoping to get some old/different font/spelling suggestions for "Mo dhaid Mo laoch" for a less than original

Many thanks in advance

I think people are a bit confused by your request (I am, anyway).
If you just want an older font, you have a choice here at the forum:
bunchló arsa (check the font choices above the window where you type in your post), to get:
Mo Dhaid, Mo laochIn order to get the form with a dot over a "d" in place of the modern "dh", you can use the "insert symbol" function in Word (look in you "Insert" menu for that):
Mo Ḋaid, Mo laoċAs to spelling, are you asking how to write things in Old Irish? The words you want are pretty basic, so even though I'm no expert in Old Irish, I do know that
mo laoch would have been
mo laoch or
mu laoch, even back then, although I don't know when the scribes started putting the dot over the "c", so it may have been written as
mo laoc or
mu laoc. I doubt that there was any equivalent of
daid back then, though. There are a few people who frequent the forum who are trained in Old Irish, but you may have to wait a while for them to respond.
