Anyone want to play Twenty Questions?

Here are basic instructions and a link, provided by mhwombat:

Quote:
Beginners: I did a short writeup on how to play 20 questions in irish. You can find it at http://www.everything2.com/index.pl?node_id=1673050 . Move your mouse over the word to get an approximate guide to pronunciation.

I'm thinking of a familiar "something" in my house. First question, anyone?

Rules for Beginners League
* If you don't know the Irish word for something, feel free to mix and match languages. For example: An bhfuil sé 'alive'. The rest of us will help you with any words you don't know.
* If you're "it", choose a very simple object for us to guess.
* If you're "it", please respond with a list of all the answers you've given so far".

Tá mé ag smaoineadh ar rud éigin... (I'm thinking of something...)

An troscán é ?

When equating two nouns or a noun and a pronoun use the copula is (/an/nach).

When using an adjective or adverb to describe a state use (níl/an bhfuil/nach bhfuil).

Close, except that isteach is "(moving) inside" - "(being) inside" is istigh, so An bhfuil sé istigh ? but yes that uses .
