Seo an chineál rud a tharlaíonn nuair nach bhfaightear freagra laistigh de ceithre mhí! Tá gach rud difriúil anseo anois... 8O

Tá. An dtaitníonn an leagan nua leat?

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Shouldn't that be:

An bhfaightear sa teach é?

:?:

I could be wrong, but I think it's only the autonomous past that doesn't get lenited or eclipsed. The autonomous present and future undergo normal mutation. :?:

I'm pretty sure there's no lenition on teach, because sa obeys DNTLS rule. There is a hidden n in sa(n).

Why? beo is an adjective. Níl sé beo is no stranger than níl sé óg.

I don't know, I was just wandering- Níl sé beo looks like níl sé fear.

Wandering all over the neighbourhood, more like!

It doesn't matter what they "look like" - Fear is a noun, so it can't be used in a tá sé ... construction, true enough, you'd need to use is as in is fear é, but beo is an adjective and tá sé beo is a perfectly normal sentence.
