I've been wanting to get an Irish tattoo that is a little more authentic. I was looking for an actual Irish blessing. So my first question: Is this an actual Irish blessing as purported by a website? And 2 of course, how would this be translated to Irish?

I've never heard of that as a traditional expression (though others may have), but here's a more or less literal translation (enlarged so that you can see the accents more clearly):

[Go raibh] síocháin ar do lámh
[May there be] peace on your hand

agus sláinte ag na daoine [go léir] a chroitheann lámh leat
and health to [all of] the people who shake your hand

The words in brackets could be left out if space is at a premium, although they do make it sound more natural in Irish.
