Hi there,
I'm planning on getting a lighter engraved for my partner for his birthday, but I want to make sure I get the translation exact. He's from Galway so I'm looking for the Connacht Irish translation.
This is what I have thus far:
"Is tú an ceol mo chroí,
Mo grá,
Mo solas,
M'anam..."
Which I'm hoping translates to
"You are the music of my heart,
My love,
My light,
My soul..."
I'm not too sure whether "My soul" should be "M'anam" or "Mo anam"?
Could somebody please help me! Thank you so much in advance!!
Hello!
These should be:
Mo ghráMo sholasM'anamIs tú ceol mo chroí
