I am looking for the best translation of "journey(s)" in more of the 'personal journey' or self-discovery sense than taking a physical trip somewhere. For context, this is going with some imagery that represents my newly found heritage (I was adopted and recently found birth families).

Thank you!

You could use aistir to mean journeys in that sense.

Turas is another option.

I'm familiar with Munster Irish/ Gaolainn na Mumhan (GM) and the Official Standard/an Caighdeán Oifigiúil (CO)

Thank you. aistir and turas were the candidates, didn't know if there were a shade of difference in the meaning - sounds as if not.
