Hello,
I am planning on getting a tattoo in Irish and paid for a professional translator service online, however they did not indicate dialects and I don't think it is correct. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could review the translation and help me in this matter. Please, if you wouldn't mind reviewing the following.
"With a spine of steel and a roar like thunder, I will rise."
The professional service gave me the following translation:
"Agus dromlach cruach agam agus búir thoirniúil asam, éireoidh mé."
Thank you very much for your time!
"
Agus dromlach cruach agam agus búir thoirniúil asam, éireoidh mé."
It says "Having a steel spine and emitting a thunderous roar, I will rise."
I don't think it is too bad considering that you inevitably have to change some grammar between languages ...
