Hello,

I am just beginning my language study with the first Buntús Cainte book and CD. Since this series of books does not explicitly teach grammar, I am hoping someone could give me a recommendation for a good book on Irish grammar.

Also, I would greatly appreciate any recommendations for language programs that teach Standard Irish or a Connacht dialect and include audio with a well-spoken, native speaker.

Thanks for your help. :D

Dia dhuit a chara - there's a whole section that we've put together called Learning Resources and there's another one called Useful Links. They're available on the main home page, if you look there.

Thank you, Franc 91.

I did take a glance through that section and noticed a lot of the postings were 6 or 7 years old, but I will take a much closer look and see if most of the recommended materials are still available. Thanks, again.

One thing I highly recommend is Nancy Stenson's books. Truly brilliant.
