Is "ansin" the right translation for this? I checked teanglann.ie but the examples leave me with doubts. Is there a difference between "and then" and "but then"?

"Ok, we'll read one book, then I've to go to work" (as in "Ok, one more book but then I definitely have to go to work")

"First your banana, then the bread" (as in, "First eat your banana, and then I'll let you eat the bread")

If "ansin" is the direct translation, are there also other possibilities or ways to say this?

EDIT: actually, there are better examples at https://www.focloir.ie/en/dictionary/ei/then
So it seems "ansin" / "agus ansin" / "ach ansin" is what I'm looking for. The other possibilities being "agus lean" or "ina dhiaidh sin".
