Conas gur féidir leat agus agus agus agus agus a chur díreach i ndiaidh a chéile in abairt? :??: Is abairt cheart agus chiallmhar í; ní scéal grinn é.

In case anyone wants to have a go, but didn't understand the question in Irish..... How can you put the word 'agus' five times in a row in a sentence while making perfect sense. This is not a joke!

Hint: It involves a sign (comhartha) on a business (gnó).

I'll give you another day or two not to respond and then I'll reply to myself!

Níl sé éasca / It's not easy.

It works in any language. I heard it in English, but decided to upgrade it by changing it to Irish!

Often Irish sounds like a hundred times "agus".
But all those agus-es are usually separated by at least some unintelligible mumbling. :S

When I first started listening to Raidió na Gaeltachta, all I could distinguish was "agus" and "'sea"

Bhí siopadóir ag iarraidh comhartha mór a chur in airde le hainm an ghnó air: 'Bialann agus Beár'. Nuair a thaispeáin an cearpantóir an comhartha dó, dúirt an siopadóir nach raibh sé céad faoin gcéad sásta leis. 'Ba mhaith liom spás níos mó a fhágáil idir 'Bialann' agus 'agus' agus 'agus' agus 'Beár'. :panic:

Bhî mé ar tí a scríobh, mar leid do na dunces , go gcaithfí "inverted commas" a úsáid (chonaic mé freagra an tomhais cupla bliain ó shin, sílim) ach bhí mé romhall.
