dia daoibh gach duine.

Bhí mé ag léamh alt ar Tuairisc.ie agus tháinig mé ar an fhriotal seo...

"...agus é le rá go mba bhaill de CLG iad". I haven't come across "go mba" before. Could you just say "...agus é le rá gur bhaill de CLC iad" ?

Is it a dialect thing or am I just missing something. jUST GUESSING i would say it is something along the lines of say "Ba bhaill de CLG iad" and sticking "go" in front of it hence the urú before "ba".

A Conemara thing, I'd say.

The copulae are more varied in real speech than the Caighdeán would have you believe

Even in Standard Irish there's go mb’fhéidir and go mb’fhiú (instead of gurbh fhéidir and gurbh fhiú,
though gurbh fhiú is more common)

Yeah, it's a Conemara thing. Mentioned in Gaeilge Chonachta as well as on GnaG.
