Is anyone else having trouble viewing "Rubaí" via the TG4 player? When I click on it, it just goes dark. Been like this for a couple of days. Everything else on the site is working fine.

I left a note on TG4's Facebook page, but I suspect I won't hear back for at least a day or two.

I found it on youtube! It has spanish (I believe) subtitles aswell, but it is on there!

I found it there too, eventually.

I also got a reply to my query on TG4's website. Apparently the film isn't licensed for broadcast outside of Ireland, which really is a shame. It's a lovely little film, and the actor who plays "Rúbaí" is the same girl who now plays Áine on Ros na Rún."

If the producers find out about it it won't be available for long. So I'd download it while you can.

I'd say it's still doing the rounds of film festivals and awards. That might be the main reason they are so strict about viewing rights.


She's a great little actress.
