Ná cloisim i do dhiadh é

I saw this phrase in ó Donaill,

"Ná cloisim i do dhiadh é" and the translation is "don’t say a word about it. "

Is that correct given that cloisim is referring to your own self.

So, more literally: "Don't let me hear ... it"

But why "i do dhiaidh"?
after you = from you?

A Dháithí Mac Giolla, a chara, I have noticed that every now and again you (as well as a few other members of the forum) encounter a phrase that you are unsure about and begin a thread on it.
