Top 500 tweeters in Irish are listed on the above site. (Is there such a word as 'tweeter'?)

Apparently the millionth tweet in Irish was sent recently. Not bad for a 'dead' language!

I've never been sure if it's "tweeter" or "twitterer."

It's hard to believe that one person has sent more than 61,000 tweets in Irish. In fairness, it's hard to believe that one person has sent 61,000 tweets in any language! http://indigenoustweets.com/ga/

Hint: For those of you who tweet, using the #Gaeilge when tweeting in/about Irish sometimes will get you to a bigger audience.

I actually used that when I first started Twitter about a month ago. I generally only tweet in Irish and interact with Irish twitterers
