I made this attempt at a translation but I'm sure it could do with some scrutiny.

Fhoilsíodh an teastas seo chun sochar a éiligh de réir na achtanna leasa sóisialta agus níl sé ceadaithe é a úsáid nó a glaca ach leis an chomhthéacs seo amháin.

Could any of you more knowledgable translators make any corrections or amendments you find necessary please?

Yours has a few grammatical and syntactic errors. I have made an attempt which I think is passable, but will need a few eyes to correct the grammar and/or make more aggressive amendments :P

Eisigh is probably a better verb to use for issue.

The trickiest part in this, while maintaining the general English framework, is to use the words for benefit and claim properly, which I think I did OK with.

There is no need to be strict when translating in the sense of word for word. I didn't think it was useful to force a possibly unnatural usage of "comhthéacs" in Irish, and so I went for "cás" (sa chás seo I think is more likely to be used in Irish). No meaning is lost, otherwise I wouldn't so easily have pted for it.

Eisíodh an teastas seo le húsáid go speisialta le haghaidh éileamh sochair de réir Achta an Leasa Shóisialaigh agus ní ceart é a úsáid nó a ghlacadh in aon chás eile

I'm not comfortable with "cás" as it seems too specific and one-off -- it corresponds with "case"/"instance" in English (via a common Latin root). I think what we need to be looking at is more "setting" or "situation" type meanings.

I think "cás" is ok to use here. Whatever about the etymology of the word it can now be used to mean "context" too in Irish.

What's missing, in my opinion, is the word "specifically". Gumbí used "speisialta" but that's "especially". Especially and specifically are not the same thing, as far as I know.
Maybe say - "sa gcás áirithe seo amháin".


Edit: or "sna cásanna áirithe seo amháin" as benefits are in the plural. (?)

I used chomhthéacs as I found it on tearma.ie and it seemed to be the most appropriate, but if cás is better, then I'm happy to use it.

I used amháin in my original translation because it seemed more natural to me, so it's good to hear its not the entire wrong way to go with it.

I was using dictionaries to get a suitable alternative, when the obvious winner is áirithe! I didn't want to use "speiceasach" or whatever it was I was coming across.
