Hello sorry to bother everyone I was just wondering what this roughly translates to because when I put it through a translator it does not really make sense.

It means "my beautiful/pretty little treasure/dear"
The "little" part need not be understood literally -- it just multiplies the endearment.
What probably threw things off is that dathúil also means "colorful" (its most common meaning). Automated translators have great difficulty with words which have various meanings.

As an additional note, mo stóirín dathúil only works if you're speaking about her/him.
If instead you are speaking to her/him, it should be: A stóirín dathúil

Edited to remove the sexism, per Red's comment below.

Just to add, "dathúil" can also mean "handsome," so this could apply equally to a man. If I were to translate it idiomatically, I'd say "My handsome/beautiful darling."

A little aside...there was an episode of the teen TV show "Aifric" in which all the girls were going gaga after a good-looking new male student. They called him "Daithí Dathúil," which the subtitles rendered as "Dishy Davie"!

Good point, a Red.
