Your question doesn't make sense. A name is a name. They don't "translate". Sometimes there are Irish language versions of a given name in another language, but not always. Kareem sounds like an English phonetic rendering of a foreign name, and as such, has no Irish form.

Is it a phonetic rendering in Irish you would like of the name?

A quick Google search showed up this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karim

To add to what Gumbi said, surnames typically only have Irish forms if they were Irish to begin with, or if they have been established in Ireland long enough (and in sufficient numbers) for someone to have decided to come up with an Irish phonetic spelling for them.

As far as I know, "Kareem" is an English phonetic rendering of an Arabic name.
