So, Duolingo has agreed to redo the audio! They've given us a list of sentences they have already updated here, but they're still the original speaker, who clearly doesn't have any idea of Irish phonology. However, they want our help in coming up with demo sentences that "need to include all the sounds in the language, and they should be hard enough to actually tell if the speaker is good."

And the Irish team is going through and working on the grammar mistakes (I think - they haven't updated a lot of the passive/active mistakes last time I checked...) as they're reported. I know for a fact they removed An raibh tromluí aige and replaced it with the native Tháinig tromluí air, as well as removing the incorrect sentence Tá Pól do mo chabhrú (cabhraigh goes with le) and I hope they're doing that with other things too. So please help us come up with ideas for sentences, so we can get an actual good speaker!

I'll tray and come up with a list, but I warn you, it might be long as a) there will be all consonants i can think of and b) there are contact situations where they change (slender r before another coronal, ch before a final slender t etc)

Suits me fine. The harder, the better, to make sure they get a native/near-native speaker, and not someone like the previous ones. I was personally thinking Abair liom mainly because it distinguishes the slender "r" and the slender "l"(don't wanna be saying Abair lom!)

The r will go broad in abair liom which goes to show finding a list won't be totally straightforward :)

Well if you do, it would be much appreciated if you posted it here so that it wasn't locked into DuoLingo.
