if this subject was covered somewhere i apologize, couldnt find anything on it
i did the google translate thing for the saying "this too shall pass" and it showed "beidh sé seo pas a fháil ró"
if this is actually close enough im ok with it because somehow i like the way it looks artistically. but i think one of the problems
is that google is confusing the meaning of "too" and using it as an "abundance" as opposed to "also"
any help would be greatly appreciated- thank you Chris

Just to close the loop, what you got from Google was an example of the problems with its approach, especially when a language has a very different syntax from that of English, as Irish does. What Google gave you was gibberish which is hard to translate, but comes out [much garbled] as something like "this here will make a passage too much".

Google translator can be good for getting the gist in your own language of something which is written in another language. It is not good for composing text in a language with which you are not familiar, because it makes many grammatical, spelling, and word choice errors.

I think people also used to give the following at the old place:

Imeoidh sé seo leis "This too shall pass"

or

Imeoidh sé seo freisin "This too shall pass"

or

Imeoidh sé seo fosta "This too shall pass"

Which one of these you choose would depend on whether you prefer the southern, western, or northern word for "too".
