Is this homework? It is forum policy not to do people's homework for them.

Please make an attempt at the Irish sentence and then we'll help you tweak it. ;)

Going by previous threads, I think Eoghan is cramming for the Leaving Cert orals.

Eoghan, if you're having trouble with a sentence like this, it might be easier to break it up into smaller sentences, e.g: "My Dad is very kind. He gets up early each morning to take me to the gym."

That is good advice. One of the mistakes that learners make is that they compose complicated sentences in one language and then try to translate the complicated sentence into another. The examiner will be interested in hearing you speak Irish with fluency; the emphasis will not be on complicated sentences, but more on natural language use.

yeah it's for my Lc oral an seachtain seo chugainn
ní mór dom cur síos a dhéanamh ar mo ghnáthamh laethúil

is féidir liom an habairt a rá i ngaeilge bríste ach ní bheadh sé ró-bheacht

níl an ghaeilge ceart ar ' very kindly', 'extra early' agus 'so'ar mo eolais,
ní bheadh sé ins an chomhtheacs ceart má dheanaim mo iarracht féin orthu

má gur fhéidir libh ? <níl mé cinnte faoi an grammadach ann> lámh chuidithe a thabhairt dom bheinn thar a bheith bhuíochaiseach daoibh

would anyone at all be able to help?, it's not homework. i'd be very grateful.

i know that cinealta is kind but I can't find anywhere how to make it an adjective
also I know breis is extra but to say breis luath would surely be incorrect?

thanks very much

Cineálta is already an adjective; are you asking how to make it an adverb?

My inclination would be to use the prefix sár- "especially", i.e. sárluath. But I'm not sure this is the choice a fluent speaker would make.

I would go for something more simple such as: 'Tá mo dhaid an-chineálta. Éiríonn sé an-luath gach maidin chun síob a thabhairt dom go dtí an gym.'

I am not sure what the usual word for 'gym' is. The 'training' bit is implied by the going to the gym bit.

Crossed with a few other posts!
