I was wanting to get a tattoo of "Worry Bankrupts the Spirit" translated into Irish.

I have been given the translation of BANIN BUART AN SPIORAD and was wondering if someone could confirm whether or not it is correct and if not, give me a more accurate translation?

But I think it's "bánann" not "banin".
And "buairt" not "buart"

I love the use of " Bánann" here instead of something like "Scriosann". But would the literal word "spiorad" be used for spirit instead of "croí"


Also an alternative suggestion which is only for development of an idea and isn't to replace the original...

Maireann an croí le buairt....the heart lives on even with worry.
