Today's word is a particularly useful one for Ireland. 8-) It is new to me, but I think I could wear it out through usage...

aiteall = a fine spell between showers

Any chance someone could put it into a sentence please?

Bhí aiteall ann.

Rinne mé deifir ag an siopa nuair a bhí aiteall ann.

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

It sounds consistent with 'lorg' to me! To me, there are two syllables in 'lorg' as in 'Tá rud éigin á lorg agam' so three syllables for 'lorga' seems right.

I think it's pronounced that way in all dialects. Actually, it's very hard to say "rg" if you pronounce the r in the proper Irish way. You need the extra vowel. I think some learners can manage to say it without that vowel, but only because they are making an English r sound.
