For a hardbound, in a format that is likely to have limited mass appeal (let's admit it...there probably aren't enough Irish-speaking Tolkien fans out there to make it a huge bestseller in Irish), it's really not that bad. I paid more for some of the paperback books I had to read in college. If enough people buy it in hardbound, the publisher might be persuaded to offer it in a less expensive paperbound edition.
