Greetings to all! I am of Irish decent of the family name Ward. We live in an area of Pennsylvania in the USA. This area is rather sparse on Irish/Scottish/Welsh heritage and at times I feel out of touch. I used to play bagpipes with the Emerald Society Pipe Band out of the Commodore Barry club in Philadelphia but sadly life got in the way and playing had to fall by the wayside. We have one daughter (9) and try to keep her engaged in her heritage as often as possible by attending festivals and activities. I enjoy any type of outdoor activity with my family and working on cars for leisure.

Haigh, Is mise Daibhéid .is Foghlaim mé Gaeilge achan lá. I have just completed step 1 Irish, i want to learn níos mó Gaeilge to prepare my youngest child for Naiscoil Eanna Beál Feirste, agus to ensure that my older children use , and learn the language in order see the generations which follow return the language to being the 1st spoken language of the nation
