Since ive started this thread ill ask my next question here.

When Referring to a place how do you know whether to use é or í

For example im talking about Howth in Dublin.
I want to say "its a lovely area"
áit alainn í/é

would I treat it as feminine as the last word Binn Éadair ends in ir and could fit in to the 5th declension, or something completely different?

If you are using áit, then use í because áit is feminine:

Is maith an áit í Binn Éadair.
Is álainn an áit í Binn Éadair.

You could also just use áit mhaith I suppose (the above examples are more emphatic):

Is áit mhaith í Binn Éadair.

How do you "I feel it is a better place to raise children"?

Braithim go bhfuil i bhfad áit níos fearr, a thógann páistí .

Braithim go bhfuil áit is fearr é, a thógtar páistí

Braithim go bhfuil áit fearr i bhfad é, a thógáilt páistí

or some other way?

You need the jolly copula, Dáithi.

Braithim gurb áit (i bhfad) níos fearr í chun páistí a thógáilt inti. (I'm inclined to use 'ann' rather than 'inti', but since 'áit' is feminine...

I was just wondering if I use "Roinnt" in the above section should "beag" go in to the Genitive "big" ?
As in Roinnt airigid , some money

And after "cuid" too?
A partitive genitive is it not?

You wouldn't because beag is an adjective.

Roinnt airgid = A share of money (of indicating possession, hence a genitive)

Roinnt bheag = A small share (no possession)
