Yes, what I suggested initially was pretty much mixable and matchable! I gave a lot of options hoping to get input from others. I wondered was 'cuid' necessary - it literally means 'share (of)' and is used a lot in Irish when it would be omitted in English. It seems that it can be omitted here, so the following should be fine. Pick one and ask for final confirmation if necessary.

Go bhfaighe do chreideamh an lámh in uachtar ar d'eagla may your faith overcome (get the upper hand on) your fear.

Go bhfaighe do chreideamh an lámh uachtair ar d'eagla (just another version of the above)

Bíodh do chreideamh níos treise ná d'eagla - may your faith be stronger than your fear

Alrighty, I know it has been a very long time since I've asked for help/translation of this phrase but tomorrow I believe is the day I'm getting the actual tattoo and I just want to make sure before it's permanent that it is grammatically correct and spelled correctly. Thank you all so so much!

This is what I am planning to get...
"Bíodh do chreideamh níos treise ná d'eagla."

And I'm hoping that it says...
"May your faith be stronger than your fear."

If anyone can verify, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you thank you thank you!

I think it works and Scooby's constructions are always very grammatically sound. :good:

If you are interested in old fonts, try this:

Bíoḋ do ċreideaṁ níos treise ná d'eagla.
