I live in the Gaeltacht in Munster and I frequently hear braithim

such as
"An mbraitheann sibh na cuairteoirí uaibh" in relation to miss or "Conas a braitheann tú" for feel

But then people might just use words or phrases they think I am more likely to understand, not being from the area

Yes, I've heard that too.

But in reality the most popular way is - Missáilfaidh mé thú/é.
It's one of those English words we have taken and made our own. :D
