There is a specific word for a quiet fart in Irish but I can't think of it. Another for ones that don't smell.
Any 'movement' on those terms, a Bhríd? (no pun intended  )

I'm eating my dinner - spuds and beans.
Actually that might remind me later ;)

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse :panic: :

tinneas bhéal an goile "indigestion"
tinneas goile "a stomach ache"
pian ghoile "a stomach ache"
tinneas boilg "a stomach ache, a belly ache"
buinneach "diarrhoea"
babhta tinnis "a bout of illness"
Tá mo ghoile dúnta. "I have no appetite"
Tá dhá cheann a ghoile air "he is vomiting and has diarrhoea"

Beans, beans - they're good for your heart;
the more you eat, the more you fart.
The more you fart, the better you feel,
so eat beans at every meal.

Brings me right back to my childhood! Someone had to post it!!!

:darklaugh:

bróga reatha is probably best translated as sneakers here.

I remembered one on them, the noisy one - rógán.
See the beans were helpful. ;)

I'm not sure of the spelling I couldn't find it in the dictionary. Actually the dictionaries seems to be missing a lot of these type of words :D
